GSA Committees—Shape the Future of Digital Signage Innovation

Join a GSA Committee to connect with industry leaders, influence cross-platform best practices, and help build the future of digital signage innovation. Whether you lead strategy, technology, or operations in your business, your insight can help shape the direction of the industry.

What Are GSA Committees?

The Global Signage Alliance’s committees are strategic, member-led working groups formed to drive collaboration across the digital signage value chain. Created to ensure real-world expertise guides industry evolution, the committees are designed to shape standards, evaluate platforms, and generate best practices that benefit the entire ecosystem.

Each committee is chaired by a GSA member and made up of professionals from across the signage spectrum.

Their mission is to connect decision-makers and give members a voice in how the industry grows. Committees meet monthly to evaluate tools, align on challenges, and influence GSA’s direction at large. Here are the key benefits of joining a committee:

  • Influence the future of digital signage interoperability
  • Network with peers and partners across Europe and beyond
  • Gain early insight into vendor roadmaps and innovation
  • Share your expertise and shape practical outcomes
  • Amplify your brand through GSA visibility and leadership

Meet the Committees: Software, Hardware, Content, and System Integrators

We have launched four focused committees to reflect the major building blocks of any signage solution. Each committee is made up of leading industry professionals to ensure representation from across the digital signage ecosystem and alignment with real-world industry needs.

Currently, GSA members can join the following member committees

Software Committee

The Software Committee explores how signage CMS platforms are evaluated and adopted. It drives discussions on integration standards, API functionality, and how software solutions align with end-user needs. Members gain exposure to comparative tools, trends in UX design, and vendor landscape shifts and how to use and implement AI.

The committee regularly reviews solutions on usability, scalability, and security. It aims to make cross-platform functionality more accessible and helps members make smarter strategic decisions. This committee is ideal for CMS developers, IT architects, and product strategists looking to influence the software layer of the signage stack.

Hardware decision-makers benefit from peer benchmarking, technology forecasting, and alignment with integrators and CMS providers. If you’re involved in hardware R&D, product launches, or procurement, this committee offers critical insight into market expectations.

How Committees Work

Committees follow a simple, structured framework that ensures productive engagement without excessive commitment. Each group meets monthly to review, discuss, and document progress toward its objectives. There will be a Whatsapp group for each committee where you can ask questions and get direct in a closed environment.

Members are expected to contribute actively and collaborate on shared resources and best practice documentation. Each quarter, progress is aligned across committees, ensuring unity of vision and a clear voice for the Alliance.
