Previously, members of the Global Signage Alliance team attended the ISE as visitors. This year, we were exhibitors so we thought it would be nice to share that experience with you. In this article, you will find the key highlights of the Global Signage Alliance (GSA) at ISE 2023. We will also mention some of the most interesting Samsung-related news in this piece.
A Samsung Seminar co-Presented by the GSA and Samsung (Tuesday, 31st Jan)
This year, the Samsung booth had restricted access, so people could only enter after pre-registering at the front. This allowed visitors to get a private tour of the Samsung booth located in the heart of Hall 3, next to other leading digital signage companies. The company had organized multiple invite-only seminars throughout the event, and one of the first was co-presented by the GSA.
Developing New Revenue Streams With Engaging Digital Signage – Tech Talk by Kevin Bierman From Moving Tactics (Wednesday, 1st Feb)
On Wednesday, 1st Feb, Kevin Bierman, member of the GSA and Head of Business for Moving Tactics, gave a Tech Talk as part of the official ISE program on the following topic: Developing New Revenue Streams with Engaging Digital Signage. Moving Tactics used this unique opportunity to share how they have applied some of the knowledge they have gained from being a GSA member in their respective market, South Africa.
Kevin talked about the ever-changing world of digital signage and how the industry sometimes struggles to find new revenue streams to supplement its growth. A digital signage service provider can supply real-time data that can trigger pertinent content at the point of purchase or passive data that can provide educated business insights using simple and creative customer-sensing gadgets that are simple to add to an existing digital signage network. The opportunity to offer new interactive technology, install these solutions, manage them, and produce more pertinent content for their clientele will be given to the digital signage service provider by offering comparable data analytics to those developed online via Google Analytics for brick-and-mortar environments.
GSA Member Meeting (Wednesday, 1st Feb)
The second day of ISE 2023, Wednesday, 1st Feb, was an eventful one for the Global Signage Alliance. In addition to Moving Tactics’s lecture, the organization also had its annual member meeting. Members from across the globe had gathered at a restaurant nearby the venue to network and discuss updates from the event.
As a co-sponsor of the dinner, Moving Tactics had a chance to give a short speech and present their new solution Sensmi to all attendees. We were really happy to see everyone who had the chance to attend and hope to you see at our next GSA event!
New GSA Members & Potential Partnerships
We are delighted to announce that during ISE 2023, 5 more companies joined us and became members of the Global Signage Alliance. We are excited to welcome aboard our newest members:
Our goal for 2023 is to reach 100 GSA members. To do that, we are working on establishing partnerships with different international digital signage events that will grant our members free and/or discounted tickets and potentially speaking opportunities for industry experts. We are also working on media partnerships to expand our reach as an organization. Stay tuned for more updates in the coming months!
